Having developed a new Specialist Motor Finance business, building on his years of experience with finance and specifically following on from his experience gained through establishing and building his own loan book, Donal has now perfected the ideal one stop solution for consumers looking to buy and finance/lease their new car. Historically Donal has specialised in helping ambitious businesses achieve their goals in start-up and turnaround situations, as well as in preparation for liquidity events. A broad contributor, he offers deep experience securing venture financing, improving operational efficiency, developing new markets, and building robust financial management. This is a result on his unique combination of thirty years financial and operational experience, a practical and can-do approach, and a keen entrepreneurial spirit. Initially from an audit background, Donal is an experienced negotiator and fundraiser. He has led teams that successfully secured Ireland’s first mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) agreement, completed numerous multi-million Euro sale and purchase agreements (SPA), raised many millions in third-party financing during both the 2001 and 2008 recessions, raised almost €3m on behalf of a client for a property project in Portugal, and was part of a management team that followed a £24m management buyout (MBO) with a subsequent $340m sale of a much-improved business.
